Marketing Manager, Live Transfer Leads
Potrero Media is looking for a talented and successful marketer who can hit the ground running and take over responsibility for a complex, profitable, and fast-growing product within our portfolio. Our ideal candidate has a strong direct marketing and lead generation experience, and has previously worked with call centers to manage customer acquisition campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Take on operational and P&L ownership for the warm-transfer phone leads product. This includes: assessing market opportunity, defining ongoing product, developing use cases, problem solving, collecting user feedback, developing specifications for Engineering, establishing campaign profitability metrics, and presenting actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Become the resident product champion and expert. Responsible for deeply understanding all aspects of the solution. Responsible for communicating product benefits and training Sales Team in ongoing sales efforts.
- Plan and coordinate company-wide, cross-functional efforts to grow the product. In addition to Engineering and Sales, coordinate with Marketing and Distribution in planning, developing and implementing high-performing creative and cost-effective distribution strategies.
- Establish and manage campaign-level and category-level reporting, including daily ROI and campaign conversion analysis.
- Manage ongoing relationships with inbound and outbound call centers including initial requirements gathering and selection, technical integration, training and optimization, project management, and regular follow-up.
Skills/Experience
- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience and 2 years direct marketing experience
- At least 1 year of work experience in the online space
- At least 1 year experience with lead generation, sales support, sales leads, or equivalent experience and strong understanding of the role of leads in the sales process
- Product Management experience a plus
- Call Center, telephonic expertise a plus
- Proven success in driving strong growth and scaling campaigns
- Track record of developing complex marketing requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and cross-functional management expertise
- Experience leading teams of 3+ members
- Entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiasm and a "can-do" attitude are essential
