Sales Executive

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to become a valuable member of our team.


Job Description

The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying, selling, and servicing new clients as we continue to grow the organization. Your main objective will be to successfully communicate our company’s value proposition to new prospective clients, as well as continue to nurture existing clients. The right candidate is an experienced negotiator, an excellent communicator, assertive, energetic, highly organized, optimistic, and determined to succeed. You should also be detail-oriented and a great closer!

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sales pipeline reports: weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Develop and implement sales plans to major carriers and/or new prospective clients
  • Manage clients’ needs and ensure long term revenue opportunity
  • Negotiate price points as well as volume commitments
  • Become intimately familiar with clients’ online offerings and related strategies, as well as effectively position our companies’ service within that model
  • Work with our marketing team to establish communication strategies
  • Participate and create solutions in the ongoing development of Potrero Media’s business strategy
  • Negotiate winning solutions to develop win-win scenarios with clients, vendors, and channel partners
  • Travel as necessary to meet with new and excising clients
  • Represent the company at industry events
  • Proactively manage existing and new book of business

Knowledge & Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of experience needed
  • Health / Life Insurance experience needed
  • Experience in online marketing and lead generation/customer acquisition
  • Computer savvy, familiar with CRM systems (specifically Sugar)
  • Experience with telemarketing, good on the phone, persuasion / negotiations, ability to contact, sell, and service customers / decision makers, C-Level executives
  • Outstanding relationship management skills and ability to create total confidence and trust with new and existing clients
  • Dynamic, positive outlook personality that can create solutions
  • Strong persuasion and leadership presence in order to open doors and achieve need results
  • Perseverance, dedication, commitment, and total focus on achieving goals
  • Impeccable ethics and teamwork a must
  • Excellent verbal /written communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
